Lover of all things food, serlf taught chef, Food Network represented, always staying ahead of the curve. Animal lover, stalwart Chicagoan who has found the peace of the Southern relaxed lifestyle - though seriously wants some snow. 

Quirky factoid - Monica Ann grew up working in a small grocery store owned by her parents - and as a six year old, leaned to butcher her first chickens, standing at the cutting table on a plastic milk crate. She credits the strength and tenacity of her German immigrant parents with her own feistiness spirit. 

Favorite Food - (with a sheepish grin) extra crispy baked tater tots with cheddar cheese and a solid brown gravy 

Favorite Soup - Pork Posole Roja (its just like your most comfortable set of pjs) Swabish Maultashen,  and clean simple pure San Marzano Tomato Soup... with a grilled cheese sandwich. 

Favorite Movies - "Braveheart", "Harold and Maude", and "The African Queen. A recent addition is "The Menu"  - don't judge. 

Anthony Bourdain just might be her spirit animal

Self professed master of home barbeque, Chef wrangler because Monica Ann is a force to be reckoned with. Voice of reason, Lover of the dogs and occasional cat. A Chicago by way of LA transplant that has acclimated to the easier Southern way of life. 

Quirky Factoid - Michael James worked for the Federal Bureau of Prisons  before embarking on a private chef/private catering enterprise with Monica Ann in 2004. When the business dissolved in 2016, he thought for sure retirement was a steer and steady path. Yep. not so much. 

Favorite Food - A mint rosemary marinate lamb chop, grilled to perfection over an isreali couscous. But he will never say no to a perfectly grilled half pound cheeseburger dripping in its juises with cheese, ripe tomatoes on a brioche bun. 

Favorite Soup  - Italian  Wedding Soup 

Favorite Moives - "West Side Story" the original one, "Red Dragon" and "Full Metal Jacket" Though he will never say no to a Katharine  Hepburn flick.

Sometimes it is the quiet ones who wield the most power, an ASC advocate since 2023. Lover of dogs. Designer of tattoos. Enjoying her Southern roots and loving the opportunity to bring what we built together to Rockingham.  

Quirky Factoid - Alice Rose insists that there is nothing quirky about her. We will work on heling her find her quirks! 

Favorite Food- Lemon honey chicken, sauteed with cut potatoes and lemon slices, drizzled with a lemon honey sauce. (Though, known shop fact that she loves all things Oreo)
